Miller hires Aon Benfield’s Walters

Miller’s reinsurance capabilities have been strengthened following the arrival of Russell Walters from Aon Benfield.

Walters has more than 25 years of experience in placing marine and energy reinsurance business, and, as Miller explained, “is adept at handling both non-proportional and proportional placements”.

The head of reinsurance at Miller, James Geffen, claimed Walters’ arrival will complement the broker’s existing capabilities within the sector.

Walters’ arrival comes just over a month after Miller added James Cunningham and Ewan Wauchope to its political risk, trade credit and political violence team.
