Registration on this website

You can register on our website in order to access additional functions offered here. Participant Registration

In compliance with legal and data protection requirements, we process the personal data of the participants and the persons carrying out the registration provided within the scope of the registration and registration in order to enable the registration and registration for the participation of the participants in the events within the Reinsurance Meeting.

Our online surveys relate exclusively to services or services that you have obtained as part of your participation in the Baden-Baden Reinsurance Meeting. Currently, the survey is conducted via the easyfeedback service (https://easy-feedback.de/reinsurance-meeting-2022).As part of the survey, we collect your anonymised ratings and answers to the individual questions. Participation in the survey is voluntary, as is answering individual questions. We use the anonymous survey results to create anonymous evaluations that have no reference to you personally.

Your answers are not linked to your name or email address, we do not have any personal data.

– Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. DSGVO – if you have given consent to the use of your contact data for surveys. The consent to the collection and processing of the data is irrevocable, as no participant-related deletion can be carried out due to the anonymised form of the survey.

– Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) – our legitimate interest in relevant surveys, to optimise our services.

– in connection with the admissibility of the processing of personal data for the fulfilment of the task within the competence of the public body (Section 4 of the State Data Protection Act of Baden-Württemberg).

 Transmission to third parties, data transfer


For sending the invitation emails and for the technical implementation of the survey, we may use service providers who process your data according to our instructions (so-called “order processors”). We currently use the online agency Nova GmbH for this purpose as well as the service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG (https://www.cleverreach.com/de-de/impressum/) for the mailing / newsletter sending. We forward the results of the anonymous survey evaluation to the hosts of the events and to the Board of Trustees of the City of Baden-Baden.

No employees within Baden-Baden Kur und Tourismus GmbH have access to your data.
Your data will not be transferred to or processed in countries outside the EU.

This also includes that we include the application and registration data in a list of the names and contact details of the participants (hereinafter conference directory), which is made available to the other participants of the Reinsurance Meeting in electronic form. This makes it possible, for example, for participants to obtain information about possible areas of interest, the events and meeting places, or to participate in them, or to network with other participants and schedule individual face to face meetings. Mandatory data are required for the execution of the registration of participation. Without mandatory data, the registration and thus the participation in the event cannot be carried out.

The participants or the persons carrying out the registration have the right to revoke their granted consents at any time or to object to the invitation and participation management process and related processing of personal data concerning them at any time.

Data required to prove consent may be stored for up to three years after your objection due to our legitimate interests. Your consent data is stored exclusively for the purposes of a possible defense against claims. Upon confirmation of your previous granting of consent, individual deletion is possible at any time.

Transmission to third parties, data transfer


  • Our data processing in the context of invitation and participation management is partially carried out in cooperation with external service providers. The service providers are used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing contractual partners (Article 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO) and based on the consent of data subjects (Article 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO).
    We have concluded an order processing contract with our service providers in accordance with Article 28 EU-DSGVO.
  • Baden-Baden Kur & Tourismus GmbH has been commissioned by the city of Baden-Baden as organizer to carry out and process the registration. This also includes transmission of participant information, answering and forwarding questions regarding the registration or questions about the event and its organization.
    Concerns the following data: All participant, registration, profile and event data.

  • Other participants in the event, if appropriate consent was given in the registration process for the above data to be included in the conference directory.
    Concerns the following data: First name, last name, job title, company, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile, if applicable profile picture and meeting place.

5. Analytics and advertising

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses take place completely in the background. Website visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its site from abusive automated crawling and spam.

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area) remain unaffected.


This website uses CleverReach to send newsletters. The supplier is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede. CleverReach is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. The data you provide (e.g. your email address) to subscribe to our newsletter will be stored on CleverReach servers in Germany.

Sending our newsletters with CleverReach enables us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can find out how many recipients have opened the email containing the newsletter and how often various links contained therein are clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyze whether a predefined action (such as the purchase of a product on our website) takes place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. Completion of an outsourced data processing contract

We have entered into an agreement with CleverReach for the outsourcing of our data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using CleverReach.

7. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose your browser has to establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
